Misc. Information
As a native New Yorker, I also lived in Los Angeles, California and returned to New York. The Martinez Gallery in Troy, New York in conjunction with 1stdibs.com includes my mixed media, rice paper sculptural mask for sale on their website and chosen work is represented online in exhibitions through the Martinez Gallery. As an art instructor, I have taught painterly monotypes/mixed media on paper and painted rice paper masks for a few years in New York City. In 2002, I curated the lifetime body of artwork for painter the late Anthony Palumbo for his Retrospective Exhibition at The Art Students League of New York, prepared all of Anthony’s support materials for his show and catalogue. Also assisted Palumbo with his summer class in Upstate New York. Worked in professional theater in New York, as well as Los Angeles. Have a varied background in the Arts working Broadway theater with master Set/Lighting Designer, the late Jo Mielziner and Director/Writer, the late Abe Burrows on “Hellzapoppin!” years ago.
